Reno.energy acquires Engie My Power to expand French residential solar portfolio

Type: Acquisition · Technology: Solar · Country: France · Announced: 2026-05-06

Belgian energy optimization specialist Reno.energy completed the acquisition of Engie My Power, Engie's residential solar installation subsidiary, to expand its French operations. The deal adds 7,500 existing solar installations and 60 employees to Reno.energy's portfolio, enabling it to achieve critical mass for larger industrial and public projects. The acquired entity has been rebranded as Reno.energy My Power, integrating Engie's residential solar expertise with Reno.energy's broader energy-as-a-service model. Reno.energy, which employs 250 staff and reported over €35 million in revenue, plans to leverage this acquisition to strengthen its integrated energy performance offerings across residential, professional, and public sectors. The transaction follows Reno.energy's 2024 acquisition of Milliot Green in northern France and a 2025 capital raise with investor Eoden.
