Roca Brazil signs 10-year PPA with Casa dos Ventos for 100% renewable electricity supply

Roca no Brasil has signed a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Casa dos Ventos to supply 100% of its electricity consumption with renewable energy. The agreement guarantees that the energy provided will exclusively come from Casa dos Ventos' solar and wind power plants, offering flexibility in energy composition while ensuring renewable sourcing. This initiative is a key part of Roca's global decarbonization goal to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% by 2030, avoiding over 43,000 tons of CO2 emissions during the contract period. Roca received strategic advisory services for the PPA structuring and negotiation from SE Advisory Services, a division of Schneider Electric.
