Rock Tech Lithium signs agreements with Siemens Canada to develop digital process twin and support DFS for Red Rock Lithium Converter

Rock Tech Lithium signed agreements with Siemens Canada on September 28, 2026 to develop a digital process twin and provide support on the definitive feasibility study (DFS) for the Red Rock Lithium Converter. The Red Rock Converter is a lithium conversion plant planned in Ontario with capacity for up to 32,000 tonnes per year of lithium carbonate equivalent. Siemens Canada will build a virtual, physics-based model covering the plant’s processes, energy flows and material streams and will support process control, instrumentation and automation architecture for the DFS launched end of June 2026 and due to finalize by mid-December 2026. Rock Tech plans for the digital twin to follow the project through engineering, construction and operations and intends to use Red Rock as a blueprint for future converters in Canada and allied G7 markets. The agreements are the first implementation phase under a memorandum of understanding signed in March 2026 and may be evaluated for application to future projects and Rock Tech’s Georgia Lake feedstock and the Victory option in Northwestern Ontario.
