Roofit.Solar and ArcEdge Power sign exclusive North American partnership for building-integrated solar roofing systems

Partnership Solar announced United States Mar 23, 2026

Estonia-based Roofit.Solar and U.S.-based ArcEdge Power formalized an exclusive partnership to deploy building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) solar roofing systems across North America, marking Roofit’s U.S. market debut. The agreement grants ArcEdge exclusive rights to manage installations, design, logistics, and installation services in the region, leveraging Roofit’s Velario metal roof-integrated solar modules. The inaugural U.S. project, a 12.32 kW residential installation in Kalamazoo, Michigan, was completed in partnership with regional installer Agathon Solar using Roofit’s 145W Velario modules with 16.2% efficiency. ArcEdge is also advancing a second project—a waterfront residence in Maryland—where local regulations prohibit conventional solar panels, demonstrating the aesthetic and regulatory advantages of BIPV. The Velario modules, manufactured in Estonia, use 6.25-inch monocrystalline PERC cells in a 3x10-inch configuration and weigh 30.8 lbs, with UL certification for electrical, fire, and weather resistance.
