RP Global secures €174 million financing for 123.9 MW Walcz wind farm in Poland

RP Global closed a €174 million unitranche financing facility with Eiffel Investment Group to fund the construction of its 123.9 MW Walcz wind farm in Poland. The project, located in Walcz County of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, will feature 21 Nordex N149 turbines and is expected to reach completion by the fourth quarter of 2027. This financing marks one of the most material closings in Poland's onshore wind market since the introduction of the 10H rule, reflecting RP Global's merchant strategy while seeking a long-term power purchase agreement for refinancing. Eiffel Investment Group highlighted the transaction's alignment with its strategy to invest in high-quality infrastructure assets supporting Europe's energy transition and sovereignty. The project represents RP Global's sixth wind farm in Poland, where the company has collaborated with local and multilateral financial institutions like the EBRD for nearly two decades.
