RWE and Vestas sign turbine supply agreement for Nordseecluster A offshore wind project

RWE and Vestas executed a turbine supply agreement for the 660MW Nordseecluster A offshore wind project in the German North Sea. Under the agreement, Vestas will supply 44 turbines, each with a capacity of up to 15MW, for installation at the project site located 50 kilometers north of the island of Juist. The contract includes the manufacturing and delivery of main components for the turbines, with installation being carried out by DEME's vessel Norse Wind, which can transport and install five turbine sets per cycle. The Nordseecluster A project is scheduled for full grid connection in early 2027, marking a material milestone in RWE's largest offshore wind development currently under construction in Germany.
