SAEL Solar P6 secures supply order for NTPC REL's 585.8 MW Chitrakoot-1 solar project in Uttar Pradesh

SAEL Solar P6 Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of SAEL Industries Ltd, secured a Letter of Award (LoA) from NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL) to supply high-efficiency TOPCon solar PV modules for the 585.8 MWp Chitrakoot-1 solar PV project in Uttar Pradesh. The order represents the largest block of the Chitrakoot-1 project, which is part of NTPC REL's renewable energy expansion in Uttar Pradesh. SAEL Solar P6 will manufacture and supply TOPCon modules, a next-generation solar technology offering higher efficiency than conventional PERC modules. The project aligns with India's renewable energy targets under the National Solar Mission, contributing to the state's solar capacity addition. SAEL Industries, which is preparing for an IPO, operates as a vertically integrated renewable energy company with 8,299 MWp of contracted solar and storage capacity and 3,625 MW of TOPCon module assembly capacity as of September 2025.
