Saipem awarded $1 billion offshore contract by Azule Energy for the Greater PAJ project in Angola

Saipem secured a $1 billion contract from Azule Energy to provide transportation and installation services for the Greater PAJ offshore project in Angola. The contract, valued at $1 billion and spanning 40 months, covers engineering, fabrication, and installation of 180 kilometers of rigid pipelines and subsea facilities at depths up to 2,000 meters. Additional scope includes 38 kilometers of flexible flowlines and jumpers, as well as 54 kilometers of umbilicals. Fabrication will occur at Saipem’s Ambriz yard in Angola, with offshore installation using vessels FDS and Castorone. The project, located 200 kilometers off Angola’s coast, represents one of sub-Saharan Africa’s most material ultra-deepwater developments.
