Saipem awarded new onshore contract for Uthmaniyah Gas Compression Plant project in Saudi Arabia

Saipem, through its jointly controlled company Saipem Nasser Saeed Al‑Hajri Contracting Company (SNSH), has been awarded a new onshore contract valued at approximately 900 million euro for the Uthmaniyah Gas Compression Plant project in Saudi Arabia. The contract, with a duration of approximately 42 months, involves engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities for a new compression plant serving the non‑associated gas field of Uthmaniyah. This project aims to extend the production life of the Uthmaniyah field, supporting Saudi Arabia's growing energy demand. The Uthmaniyah Gas Compression Plant is the first EPC project awarded under the National EPC Champion Program, designed to develop national EPC capabilities and maximize local resources. The award strengthens Saipem’s presence in Saudi Arabia and its commitment to developing the Kingdom’s energy infrastructure.
