Sasol International Chemicals signed a 15-year virtual power purchase agreement with Akuo to offtake the equivalent of 91 MW (250,000 MWh/year) from Akuo's 195 MW Tennyson solar farm in Coke County, Texas, starting in the second half of 2026 to cover roughly 50% of Sasol’s Lake Charles Chemicals Complex electricity needs and reduce about 90 ktpa CO2 emissions.
