The Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) signed power purchase agreements with ACWA Power Company, the Water & Electricity Holding Company (a Public Investment Fund subsidiary) and Aramco Power for three solar PV projects totalling 5.5GW (Haden 2GW, Al-Muwaih 2GW in Mecca Province and Al-Khushaybi 1.5GW in Qassim Province) under Saudi Arabia's National Renewable Energy Programme.
