Selangor Industrial Corporation and DC Union form joint venture SQDC to develop 65MW data center in Cyberjaya, Malaysia

Selangor Industrial Corporation (SIC), a subsidiary of the state of Selangor’s development agency PKNS, has signed a joint venture agreement with domestic data center developer DC Union. The agreement establishes a new joint venture called SQDC, which will develop a 65MW data center campus in Cyberjaya, south of Kuala Lumpur. The project is valued at RM2.5 billion ($604 million) and will be constructed on a 5.2-hectare site. PKNS has reportedly stated that the data center will deploy immersion cooling technology.
