Sercel announced the sale and delivery of 12,000 nodes of its WiNG wireless nodal system to OGDC, Pakistan's largest national oil and gas company, marking OGDC's first adoption of land nodal seismic acquisition technology. The contract equips a 3D seismic survey in southern Pakistan and includes 2,600 additional WiNG AFU analog nodes, enabling deployment on buoys in hard-to-access areas like marshes and lakes. The WiNG system features ultra-sensitive broadband QuietSeis MEMS sensor technology, delivering high-fidelity seismic data for modern exploration surveys. This configuration ensures continuous, uninterrupted data acquisition across diverse environments, including challenging terrains. The agreement strengthens OGDC's nodal capability and expands its operational flexibility for seismic data collection.
