SERL Énergies signed a lease agreement with USIN Lyon Parilly to develop a 2,200 m² solar carport on the Parking Nord of the USIN Lyon Parilly industrial site in Lyon, France. The project will feature 1,078 photovoltaic panels with an estimated annual production of 566 MWh, directly supplying energy to on-site industrial tenants. Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2026 with a six-month timeline, targeting completion by mid-2027. This initiative is part of USIN Lyon Parilly's broader energy strategy to achieve 1,400 MWh of annual solar production by the end of 2026, equivalent to the consumption of 350–500 households. The solar carport will provide industrial tenants with fixed, competitive energy prices, enhancing their operational cost stability amid volatile energy markets.
