Sharon AI signs long-term lease for capacity with GreenSquareDC

Sharon AI signed a long-term customer contract to lease capacity from GreenSquareDC for the first stage of the SYD1 data center campus at 3 Brookhollow Avenue in Western Sydney, announced on 28 September 2026. The leased capacity will be used to deploy approximately 8,200 Nvidia Blackwell Ultra GPUs with initial operations targeted for Q4 2026. The Sydney site is a former IBM facility that GreenSquareDC is refurbishing and plans to expand into a 110 MW campus through new buildings. GreenSquareDC launched in October 2022 and was acquired by Partners Group in March 2025, and the deal validates GreenSquareDC’s platform and demand for AI-ready infrastructure according to CEO Charles Penny. Sharon AI already lists GreenSquareDC and CDC as data center partners and said it has 212 MW of capacity online or in development and 64,000 Nvidia GPUs due by mid-2027.
