Shinsung E&G inaugurated a 350 MW solar module production line at its Gimje plant in Jeollabuk-do, South Korea, marking a material expansion of its manufacturing capacity. The new line brings the plant's total capacity to 650 MW, with modules utilizing n-type cell technology designed for high-power applications. Shinsung E&G secured supply agreements totaling 454 MW for projects in the Saemangeum development area, including an 80 MW ground-mounted project, a 74 MW project, and a 300 MW floating solar project. The company operates two additional factories in Yongin and Jeungpyeong, with the Yongin facility powered by renewable energy and an energy storage system. Shinsung E&G established the Gimje plant under an investment agreement with the local city government, contributing to local job creation and industrial development in the region.
