Skyborn Renewables agreed to sell a 25% equity stake in the 976.5 MW Gennaker offshore wind project located in the German Baltic Sea to Stadtwerke München (SWM) for an undisclosed sum. The transaction, subject to customary approvals and expected to close in Q3 2026, marks a strategic partnership to advance the project toward construction financing. Once operational, Gennaker is projected to generate enough electricity to supply approximately one million households annually. Stadtwerke München emphasized the project's alignment with its long-term energy transition goals and expanding offshore wind portfolio in Germany. Patrick Lammer, CEO of Skyborn Renewables, highlighted SWM's strong commitment to renewable energy as a key driver for the partnership.
