Skyonline secures renewable energy supply from YPF Luz for its Buenos Aires datacenter
Skyonline, an Argentine digital infrastructure company, signed an agreement with YPF Luz to supply renewable energy for its Tier III Compliant datacenter in Buenos Aires. The contract covers approximately 7,200 MWh annually for three years, aiming to meet 85% of the datacenter's electricity demand. This energy will be sourced from YPF Luz's General Levalle wind farm in Córdoba and the El Quemado solar park in Mendoza. The General Levalle wind farm has a capacity of 155 MW, while the El Quemado solar park is planned to reach 305 MW, with 200 MW already operational and 100 MW connected to the grid as of December. This agreement is part of Skyonline's strategy to decarbonize its critical infrastructure for colocation and cloud services.
