SkyVolt Energy and Nodiac sign LOI to deploy modular AI data centers at renewable energy sites
Type: Partnership · Technology: Data Center · Country: United States · Announced: 2026-06-19
SkyVolt Energy and Nodiac signed a letter of intent to explore the deployment of modular data centers at SkyVolt’s wind, solar, and battery storage sites across North America. Under the agreement, Nodiac will use its proprietary NORA platform to assess SkyVolt’s portfolio and identify suitable locations for distributed AI compute infrastructure. The partnership aims to accelerate the development of sustainable, resilient data center capacity by co-locating facilities directly at renewable energy projects. SkyVolt’s CEO, Alexandre Alonso Carpintero, emphasized that the collaboration reflects a shift toward 'power-to-load' development, moving beyond raw megawatt generation to higher-value infrastructure. Nodiac’s CEO, Robert Sher, highlighted the potential to unlock new revenue streams for SkyVolt’s existing renewable energy pipeline by integrating modular data centers at its sites.
