In May 2024 SNCF Energie (SNCF Voyageurs) signed a 25-year corporate power purchase agreement with Neoen for 172 GWh/year of renewable electricity from a new 139 MWc agrivoltaic solar project 'Le Couret' in Haute-Vienne, France, to be commissioned in 2028 with construction starting in early 2026.
