Sojitz Corporation has launched a small-scale distributed solar power business in Japan and concluded multiple off-site corporate power purchase agreements (PPAs), including a large PPA with Kansai Electric Power Company and West Japan Railway Company in 2023 and a contract with Kansai Electric Power Company and Osaka Titanium Technologies Co., Ltd. in 2025, to supply renewable electricity and RECs from newly developed small-scale solar plants.
