Solplanet and Vu Phong Energy Group form partnership to address Vietnam's solar workforce shortage

Solplanet inaugurated its first Service and Training Center in Vietnam as part of a strategic partnership with Vu Phong Energy Group. The collaboration includes a Master Distributor agreement, formalizing Vu Phong Energy Group's role in distributing Solplanet's solar products across the country. The partnership launched the Solplanet Certified Installer Program, designed to train and certify 500 solar installers by 2027 to address Vietnam's critical shortage of skilled technical personnel. Vu Phong Energy Group, a leading Vietnamese solar developer, will leverage Solplanet's training infrastructure to upskill local workers, targeting projects in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi where demand for solar installations is highest. The initiative aligns with Vietnam's national solar capacity expansion goals, aiming to add 15 GW of new solar capacity by 2030.
