Solrite Energy and sonnen launched a virtual power plant power purchase agreement (VPA) in Texas under which Solrite will install rooftop solar and sonnen Core+20 batteries at eligible homes with no upfront cost, enrolled batteries (up to 60 kWh per home) will be aggregated and managed by sonnen to provide VPP grid services while homeowners pay a fixed 12¢/kWh for solar energy.
