Sonnedix acquires 194 MW of solar PV plants in Italy
Sonnedix, an independent solar power producer and investment vehicle of JP Morgan, has acquired six solar photovoltaic plants in Italy, totaling 194 MW. This acquisition increases Sonnedix's operational capacity in Italy to over 1 GW, solidifying its presence in the country. The portfolio includes five operational assets (182 MW) and one under construction (12 MW), all situated in Lazio and backed by long-term PPA contracts. This transaction is part of Sonnedix's ongoing expansion in Italy, following its success in securing over 800 MW in FER-X auctions and other regulatory mechanisms in 2025.
