SPIE Global Services Energy secures high-voltage cable termination and testing contract for Baltyk II and Baltyk III offshore wind farms in Poland

SPIE Global Services Energy, through its SPIE Wind Connect unit, secured a contract from Seaway7 to provide high-voltage cable termination and testing services for the Baltyk II and Baltyk III offshore wind farms in Poland. The agreement covers the termination and testing of the 66-kV inter-array cable network, which will connect wind turbine generators to offshore substations. The combined 1,440 MW capacity of the two projects will be developed in the Polish Exclusive Economic Zone of the Baltic Sea, with each farm consisting of 10 strings of five wind turbines. The main offshore campaign is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026, marking a critical step in Poland's energy transition. SPIE emphasized its technical expertise in high-voltage cable systems and commitment to delivering the project safely and reliably.
