Statkraft and SUNCATCHER have formed a partnership to market and optimize three hybrid solar and battery storage projects in Germany—Klötze II, Salzwedel, and Seehausen—once commissioned in the second half of 2026. The portfolio includes a total solar capacity of 34.5MWp and battery output of 12MW with 24MWh storage, with Statkraft managing generation, storage, and trading operations under a profit-sharing model. The agreement runs until 2031 and focuses on integrating renewable energy into the market through hybrid facilities. Statkraft will actively control the assets in line with price signals to maximize revenue potential. The partnership aims to unlock the full value of hybrid projects by aligning marketing, control, and flexibility.
