Stonepeak makes equity investment in AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE)

Stonepeak is making an equity investment in AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE), an investor, owner, and operator of distributed energy assets across the United Kingdom and Europe. ADE, launched in 2024 with AGP Group, funds, builds, owns, and operates onsite renewable-energy infrastructure for commercial and industrial customers. With Stonepeak's support, ADE will gain additional capacity and expertise to launch new projects and accelerate development across its operating regions. ADE currently has a pipeline of over 1 gigawatt and has contracted 250 megawatts of renewable-energy projects across 200 sites to date. This investment will enable ADE to meet the growing demand for affordable, reliable renewable energy from businesses seeking to control energy costs and decarbonize operations.
