Sunbiose and Sween form partnership to deploy real-time collective self-consumption solar project in Gondrin, France
Type: Partnership · Technology: Solar · Country: France · Announced: 2026-04-28
Sunbiose and Sween partnered to develop Gondrin's first real-time collective self-consumption solar project in the Gers region, approved by the Gondrin municipal council on April 28, 2026. The initiative leverages Sunbiose's TeeKy solution, a patented real-time monitoring system acquired from Sween, to optimize energy sharing across ten public buildings including schools, municipal offices, and a leisure center. The 200,000 euro project, supported by Occitanie's Startup Industrie de Demain program, will install a rooftop solar plant on the polyvalent hall with 75% of generated power consumed locally without grid transit. Expected to break even in eight years, the operation secures municipal energy finances against price volatility while enabling future expansion to commercial and residential participants.
