Suno Asset's SNEL11 acquires five operational solar plants totaling 23.5 MWp for R$ 123.4 million
Type: Acquisition · Technology: Solar · Country: Brazil · Capacity: 23.5 MW · Announced: 2026-05-25
Suno Asset, through its renewable energy-focused real estate investment fund SNEL11, acquired five operational solar photovoltaic (PV) plants totaling 23.5 MWp of installed capacity for R$ 123.4 million. The assets, located in Bahia, Paraná, and Mato Grosso do Sul, are already connected to the grid and generating revenue, including the UFV Paramirim in Bahia, UFVs Cruzeiro do Sul and Soleil in Paraná, and UFV Juti in Mato Grosso do Sul. The transaction added 17.42 MWac to SNEL11's portfolio, expanding its geographic diversification in Brazil's distributed generation segment. Funding for the acquisition came from SNEL11's fourth share issuance earlier in 2026, which raised approximately R$ 622 million to expand its solar asset portfolio. According to Vitor Duarte, Suno Asset's investment director, the current macroeconomic environment created opportunities to acquire operational assets at more attractive valuations, prioritizing revenue predictability and cash generation while reducing construction and ramp-up risks.
