Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy and Google signed a long-term power purchase agreement in 2024 for electricity from the 14-turbine Alajoki-Peuralinna onshore wind farm (operational since April 2025) providing an estimated 250 GWh/year to support Google's investments and data center expansion in Finland.
