Svanehoj announced it has signed a supply agreement to provide four LNG density and temperature gauging systems to Drydocks World Dubai for the conversion of the LNG carrier LNG Bayelsa into the floating storage unit Cap Lopez. The conversion, commissioned by Dixstone Lower Gulf FZCO, will create a floating LNG storage and export facility supporting Gabon's offshore gas infrastructure. The FSU is slated for completion in the third quarter of 2027 and aims to reduce gas flaring while increasing production capacity. By delivering advanced continuous monitoring equipment, the deal enhances operational safety and enables real‑time rollover prediction for the new storage unit.
