TC Energy Corp. has agreed to sell Energía Occidente de México, the owner of the 313‑kilometer Guadalajara‑Manzanillo natural gas pipeline, to affiliates of ESENTIA Energy Development for a gross purchase price of $400 million. The pipeline transports up to 500 million cubic feet per day of natural gas from imported LNG near Manzanillo and continental supply near Guadalajara to power plants and industrial customers in Colima and Jalisco. The transaction will allow TC Energy to redeploy proceeds from this mature asset toward higher‑value growth opportunities across its North American footprint. Both parties will cooperate to ensure a safe and orderly transition of operations for this critical gas system.
