Tenergie and Crédit Agricole regional banks form joint venture Catener to acquire and manage 75 MW of operational wind and solar assets in France

French renewable energy developer Tenergie and eight regional banks of Crédit Agricole established a joint venture named Catener to acquire and manage operational wind and solar assets in France. The partnership acquired a 49% stake in a 75 MW portfolio of operational wind and solar assets from Tenergie, located across five departments: Deux-Sèvres, Landes, Charente-Maritime, Somme, and Var. François Trabucco, CEO of Tenergie, highlighted that the collaboration strengthens the company's ability to invest sustainably and accelerate large-scale energy transition efforts. Tenergie currently operates nearly 2,400 solar plants and wind farms with a total installed capacity of 1 GW. The Catener platform is designed to progressively expand through additional transactions, leveraging Crédit Agricole's regional network and Tenergie's operational expertise.
