Touring Capital and Kindred Ventures lead $32 million Series A funding round for AI cloud startup Parasail
AI cloud startup Parasail secured $32 million in a Series A funding round led by Touring Capital and Kindred Ventures, with additional participation from Samsung Electronics' investment arm. The company, which operates an AI deployment network connecting multiple GPU cloud providers, plans to use the capital to enhance its inference optimization features, strengthen its partner ecosystem, and expand its go-to-market strategy. Parasail's platform automates workload matching across a network of 40 data centers in 15 countries, including its own GPU clusters, enabling customers to purchase GPU capacity on a pay-per-token basis without long-term contracts. The company currently offers access to Nvidia H200 GPUs and claims to have more on-demand capacity than Oracle's entire GPU fleet. Parasail was founded in April 2025 with $10 million in seed funding led by Basis Set Ventures, Threshold Ventures, Buckley Ventures, and Black Opal Ventures.
