Transwestern Investments acquired 320 Overland Drive, a 408,176-square-foot fully leased industrial facility located on 26.79 acres in Chicago’s I-88 Corridor. The building, built in 2023, features a cross-dock configuration, 36-foot clear heights, 55 dock doors (expandable to 86), four drive-in doors and dedicated car and trailer parking. The property sits 1.7 miles from Interstate 88 and provides connectivity to Interstate 355, Interstate 294, O’Hare International Airport, downtown Chicago and the broader Midwest transportation network. Transwestern Investments purchased the asset on behalf of a separate account and retained Transwestern Services to provide property management services. The deal adds a modern distribution asset to Transwestern Investments’ Midwest industrial holdings in a submarket that Transwestern Research reports has averaged approximately 95 percent occupancy over the past 15 years.
