The United States and Armenia signed an agreement allowing U.S. companies to license nuclear technology and equipment to Armenia, opening the door for $5 billion of initial U.S. exports and an additional $4 billion for ongoing fuel and maintenance contracts to support potential reactor projects including life extensions and new-build (including SMRs) at the Metsamor site.
