Unilever (via Hindustan Unilever Limited) has signed a 20-year PPA with Brookfield to supply renewable electricity from a 45 MW off-site solar project in Rajasthan to Unilever and ten collaborative manufacturers across 15 states in India, covering multiple sites and aiming to meet nearly a quarter of Unilever's operational electricity demand in India while cutting ~28,000 tonnes CO2e per year for collaborators.
