Uniper and Respect Energy sign six-year solar PPAs for 219 MWp of Polish solar projects
Type: Ppa · Technology: Solar · Country: Poland · Capacity: 219 MWp · Announced: 2026-07-06
Uniper and Respect Energy executed six-year power purchase agreements (PPAs) covering electricity and Guarantees of Origin (GoOs) from four solar photovoltaic projects in Poland totaling 219 MWp. The agreements include the Pakość, Kłodawa, Domanowo, and Krotoszyce solar projects, with electricity deliveries scheduled to begin in 2028. The projects are part of Uniper’s broader renewable energy expansion plan, following its December 2025 investment decision to develop five additional solar projects across Poland and the UK, adding approximately 288 MWp of capacity. Under the PPAs, Respect Energy will purchase renewable electricity and associated GoOs from the four projects, reinforcing its renewable energy supply portfolio in Central and Eastern Europe. The partnership aligns with both companies’ strategies to accelerate the energy transition and support Poland’s decarbonization goals.
