Velto Renewables acquires 11 MW L'Escur wind farm in France from Q Energy
Velto Renewables has completed the acquisition of the 11 MW L'Escur onshore wind farm from Q Energy, located in Murat-sur-Vèbre, Tarn department, France. The asset comprises five Vestas V90 turbines (2.2 MW each) with 80-meter hub heights, generating approximately 39.5 GWh annually—enough to power 8,300 homes and avoid over 850 tons of CO2 emissions. This transaction marks Velto's second onshore wind asset and strengthens its renewable energy portfolio in France as part of a broader collaboration framework with Q Energy designed to facilitate future project transfers. The acquisition advances Velto's European expansion strategy and demonstrates continued consolidation in the French renewable energy market.
