Vena Energy has secured a ₱2.7 billion green project finance facility from Security Bank to support the construction of its 80.6 MWp Astra Solar project in Currimao, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. The project is part of Vena Energy's expansion in the region, which will increase its solar footprint in Ilocos Norte to approximately 480 MWp. Once operational, Astra Solar is projected to generate around 142 GWh of electricity annually, sufficient to power approximately 120,500 households. This financing underscores Vena Energy's commitment to driving the Philippines' energy transition and creating local jobs.
