U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) producer Venture Global and German utility EnBW signed new binding supply agreements for approximately 0.82 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG over a five-year period beginning in 2026. The LNG will be sourced from Venture Global's portfolio, complementing existing long-term sales and purchase agreements covering 2 mtpa over 20 years. Venture Global highlighted its role as one of Germany's top LNG suppliers, emphasizing the agreements' contribution to regional energy security amid efforts to diversify gas supplies. The new mid-term deals build on a long-standing relationship between the two companies, with Venture Global noting its dynamic marketing platform enables flexible supply solutions across short, medium, and long terms. Venture Global's portfolio includes over 100 mtpa of LNG capacity in production, construction, or development, reinforcing its position as a key supplier to European markets.
