Independent power producer Verano Energy signed a 15-year PPA with Chilean gas provider Abastible for the Domeyko solar-plus-storage project in Atacama, Chile, comprising 83 MW of solar PV and 660 MWh of BESS, representing a US$230 million investment and expected to be operational by the end of 2026.
