Vertiv supplies and installs cooling system for NFrance data centre, cutting power bill by 20%

Type: Supply Agreement · Technology: Data Center · Country: France · Announced: 2026-07-21

Vertiv supplied and installed a Liebert PDX direct‑expansion air‑cooling system and a Liebert HPA‑HCR condenser for NFrance’s data centre in Toulouse, France. The new equipment eliminates water use for server cooling, achieving a Water Usage Effectiveness of 0 and reducing the facility’s power bill by 20 percent. The upgrade also lowered the Power Usage Effectiveness, with NFrance aiming for a PUE of 1.3 by the end of 2026. The system was sized with dual refrigeration circuits, independent condensers and N+1 redundancy to maintain 99.99 % server availability during peak loads. Vertiv highlighted the project as part of its precision‑cooling portfolio, while NFrance expects the efficiency gains to enhance the competitiveness of its hosting and cloud services.
