Vestas secures 117MW of onshore wind turbine orders in Germany

Vestas has secured three onshore wind turbine orders totaling 117MW in Germany as part of its second-quarter intake. The Nienwohlde project, for BVNON Dienstleistungs- und Projektentwicklungs GmbH, will includes 31MW using five V162-6.2MW turbines and includes a 25-year AOM 4000 service agreement. Boreas Energy has agreed to a 50MW Vogelsberg project, deploying seven V172-7.2MW turbines under a 20-year AOM 4000 service agreement. ENP Neue Energien GmbH will receive six V150-6MW turbines for the 36MW Münk Arbach project, with a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement. Delivery for the Nienwohlde and Vogelsberg projects is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027. The Münk Arbach project's delivery is slated to start in the third quarter of 2027, with commissioning in the second quarter of 2028.
