VH Global Energy Infrastructure finalized the sale of six operational solar projects in Brazil to Energea Portfolio 2 for a minimum of R$38 million (£5.4 million), representing 92% of the assets’ net asset value as of 31 March 2026. The combined installed capacity of the projects totals 11.7 MWp, located in Rio de Janeiro state. Energea will pay R$35 million at closing and an additional R$3 million 12 months post-signing, with the deferred payment adjusted for labor claims against construction contractors. VH Global Energy Infrastructure may receive up to R$12 million in performance-based payments if the assets exceed agreed revenue targets over the 12-month period, potentially increasing the total consideration to R$50 million. The net proceeds will be returned to shareholders via a bonus issue of redeemable B shares. The transaction is the second disposal under VH Global Energy Infrastructure’s asset realization strategy, following the sale of two US liquid storage terminals.
