Voltalia signed a Contrato de Uso do Sistema de Transmissão (Cust) with Brazil's Operador Nacional do Sistema Elétrico (ONS) to secure a 322 MW transmission connection at the Complexo Industrial e Portuário de Pecém in Ceará. The agreement enables Voltalia to supply renewable energy to multiple data center operators currently in advanced negotiations with the company. Located in the ZPE Pecém free trade zone, the project leverages the port's strategic infrastructure to support high-demand industrial clients. Voltalia is actively engaging with several data center operators, positioning itself as a key renewable energy provider for Brazil's expanding digital infrastructure sector. The transmission capacity of 322 MW represents one of the largest single connections secured for data center operations in Brazil to date.
