Type: Financing · Technology: Onshore Wind · Country: France · Capacity: 12.8 MW · Announced: 2026-07-07

VSB France inaugurated the 12.8 MW Bosjean wind farm in the Puy-de-Dôme department of central France, marking a key expansion in its regional renewable energy portfolio. The project, developed and constructed by VSB France, includes six Vestas V110 wind turbines and is expected to generate approximately 24 GWh of renewable electricity annually, sufficient to power over 12,000 people. The wind farm will avoid around 7,800 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year, contributing to France’s energy transition goals. CIC Corporate & Institutional Banking provided financing for the project, enabling its completion and operationalization. With the addition of Bosjean, VSB France now operates two wind farms in the Puy-de-Dôme department, collectively generating about 102 GWh of electricity per year.
