Wärtsilä selected by Liberty Energy to supply engines for AI-driven US data centers

Liberty Energy announced that it has signed a supply agreement with Wärtsilä to procure Wärtsilä 34SG engines for its AI‑driven data center projects in the United States. The engines, which can operate on natural gas or renewable natural gas, are modular and can be deployed in scalable blocks of up to 1 GW. Equipment deliveries are scheduled to start in 2029 and continue through 2030, enabling rapid on‑site power capacity for the data centers.
