Type: Acquisition · Technology: Data Center · Country: United States · Capacity: 60 MW · Value: $60M · Announced: 2026-08-17

WhiteFiber, through its wholly owned subsidiary Enovum Data Centers Corp, acquired two industrial properties in Yadkin County, North Carolina from Unifi Manufacturing, Inc. for $60 million. The sites includes approximately 120 acres and 500,000 square feet of warehouse space and are slated to be retrofitted into data center campuses named NC-2 and NC-3. The initial phase will deliver a combined minimum of 60 MW of gross utility capacity, with potential to scale to about 200 MW over time, and is targeted for ready‑for‑service in Q3 2027. The acquisition expands WhiteFiber’s North Carolina footprint, complementing its existing 40 MW NC‑1 campus located 55 miles away. Closing of the transaction is expected in Q4 2026, and the deal supports WhiteFiber’s strategy to grow its AI‑cloud data center platform in the United States.
