Windward Offshore takes delivery of its third CSOV from Vard

Windward Offshore has taken delivery of its third commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV), named Windward Munich, from Vard's shipyard in Vung Tau, Vietnam. This delivery is part of a four-vessel series being built by Vard for the German company, with Windward Munich being an advanced hybrid CSOV designed to support offshore operations. The vessel features an electrical driven, integrated motion compensated gangway and crane, a helideck, and accommodation for up to 120 persons. Windward Munich has already secured its first charter assignment, which is set to commence soon. The delivery follows the Windward Paris earlier this year and Windward Athens in October 2025, with one more CSOV, Windward Hamburg, remaining under construction.
